Vincent René-Lortie is a Montreal director whose work consists of several experimental short films and music videos. In recent years, he has notably been nominated twice for the UK Music Video Awards and the prestigious JUNO Awards. Paying particular attention to dreamlike and surreal narratives, his work crosses the genres of animation, science fiction, and dance film.

More recently, Vincent has focused on the creation of two fiction projects, including the short film Invincible, currently in distribution and winner of numerous awards, as well as the film La Peau de l'autre, which will enter post-production in 2023. This latest work will be an intimate collaboration with the choreographer, performer and artistic director of Person Dance, Charles-Alexis Desgagnés.
