Photographer and photo artistic director
Artist and impact maker Damian Siqueiros uses art to create positive narratives about the future that lead to healing social and ecological environments. Siqueiros' work is presented through a multidisciplinary practice: photography, installation, video art, art direction and artistic education. The performing arts have been a central part of his work almost from the start of his career.
Performance has become a language expressed through photography that allows him to address complex issues through abstract and emotive movement. Damian has created over 60 exhibitions in Canada and internationally, including in Washington DC, the Art Museum of the Americas, Miami and the Frost Museum, Mexico, South Korea at the Goyang Residence of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art from Seoul, Toronto, Montreal and New York at the prestigious Tambaran Gallery.
Siqueiros is currently working on Terra Sapiens, a vision of art for environmental regeneration with stimulating artistic representations of a viable future that nurtures symbiotic natural, human, collaborative and developmental environments.
Siqueiros ensures the photographic image of The call of the embers, the solo creation of Charles-Alexis Desgagnés.
