Catherine FP is a queer lighting designer from Montreal. They attempted studies in jazz guitar, electronics, cinema, performance and media arts before finally finding their place in a theater, in the wee hours of the morning, with a good glass of Whisky. Since that sleepless night in 2012, Catherine has been designing the lighting for a number of shows in all performing arts disciplines.

Recently, we have seen his work at the CTDA with Soleil Launière, at the MAI with Hoda Adra and at the FTA with Laakuluk Williamson Bathory and Vinnie Karetak. Catherine is also an artist with the Encorps Montreal collective, a lighting designer on tour with Les Louanges, and a student at Espace Vert. Catherine signed the lighting design for J'ai pleuré ce matin dans le métro July 2022.
